First Wisconsin Bowling Ball Rocket

Looks cold, definitely not Rainbow Valley

This rocket was designed and constructed by Annie Mortensen and Dawn Hruska,  two high school girls in the  rocketry program at Kingsford High School in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. These are pictures from the March Tripoli Wisconsin launch. It was the first bowling ball rocket launched in Wisconsin.  It was launched with an eight pound bowling ball on a J motor.

They got there rocket back without a scratch.

Maybe the boys can learn something from them.
