Smoke and Fire

Shuttle solid booster tested fire in Utah Febuary 2000. Photo was taken from the observation area about 3/4 of a mile from test stand. During the burn the size and direction of the plume changed with the thrust level and vectoring.

This Is Only a Test

Little Joe 2 test at White Sands. These were flown with various motor combinations in clusters. Just like a big Model Rocket.
